Here at High Peak Gundog Supplies we source all of our training dummies from Sporting Saint.

When starting out training it is imperative that you choose the correct canvas dummy for your dog, in order for your training to be effective and allow your dog to develop their skill set.

Puppy & Junior Training Dummies

The puppy dummy is a great starting point for both young and inexperienced dogs alike. They are lightweight ensuring puppies can comfortably pick them up, encouraging early retrieval instincts without causing unnecessary strain.

As your puppy grows, you can then transistion to the junior dummy which bridges the gap between puppy dummies and 1/2lb dummies, preparing your dog for more advanced exercises.

1/2lb Canvas Dummies

1/2lb canvas dummies are ideal for young dogs transitioning from the puppy/junior dummy and for older dogs who are looking to refine their skill set.

These Sporting Saint dummies are available in an array of colours and come with a throwing toggle making them suitable for a wide range of training exercises.

1lb Canvas Dummies

The 1lb dummy is one of our best sellers and is an esssential in any trainers bag. These dummies are designed to replicate the size and weight of a bird, thus helping your dog to build strength and endurance preparing them for a day on the field.

As with the 1/2lb dummies, these are available in an array of colours helping dogs to improve their marking ability.

2lb and 3lb Canvas Dummies

For more advanced training, we recommend the 2lb and 3lb dummies, which are double the weight but the same size as the 1lb canvas dummies, helping to prepare dogs for picking up heavier game such as Cock Pheasants and Drakes.

Target Dummies

The Target Dummy is designed to refine the dogs retrieving skills, helping them to improve their accuracy and overall retrieval ability allowing handlers to fine-tune their dogs performance.
